My Commitment Issues with Nail Polish

Photo Site

I am a nail polish whore! *screams at the top of my lungs* Phew!! I said it, I am a nail polish whore. I love polish and the way you can mix and match, create new colors and complete an entire outfit with it. While I like some brands more then others I can’t help but want to give every color out there  a chance to grace my luxurious nubs!

While I admit that I am a avid nail polish hoarder I sometimes have trouble committing to a few colors. When a new collection comes out and I find myself just buying the entire collection only to really fall in love with 3 or 4. It’s kind of like going to the buffet and piling everything on your plate only to sit down and eat half of it. This habit is umm quite expensive. Especially when one bottle can cost at minimum $8.00 depending on the brand. To curb this I’ve decided the best remedy is to buy the  Mini Polish packages of new collections that way I can try them out and see which ones I really fall in love with.  Most polish mini’s start at $3.99 on up to $15.00 depending on the brand  giving you at least 4 polishes from the collection to try. Each bottle is gives you at least 2 applications of the polish which is more then enough for me.  It’s like a prenup for Nail Polishes. If  I don’t like you after one use I can either give you away and not feel bad about it or I can just set it to the side to make a franken out of it later.

Here are some of the latest Mini’s I’ve gotten from different collections:

Bohemian Brights $24.50 at Sephora

Spider Man by O.P.I $12.50 at Ulta

Betsey Johnson $24.50 at Sephora

Kleancolor Blue Maniacs $3.99 at Ross

How do you feel about the mini’s? What do you do with the colors you don’t fall in love with? Share and comment
