Will you Catch the Fever of Fevour Cosmetics Mineral Makeup?

I recently had the pleasure of trying out a new line of mineral makeup from Fevour Cosmetics. Fevour Cosmetics describes their brand as a chic, fiery, and trendy line of beauty products, celebrating vibrant parades of universally flattering colours for both the hip and mature. I had the opportunity to try out four products from this new line and let me just say I was quite surprised!

Mineral Loose Bright Eye Shadows

Fevour’s Mineral Loose Eyeshadows $15, come in a 2.35g sifter jar and a wide range of colors. I tried the shades Violet and Mandarin from the Bright collection. I paired both of these colors with the Fevour Cosmetics Eye Shadow Primer which I highly recommend for the loose eyeshadows. These eyeshadows are best applied using a flat shader brush.

Without the Eye shadow primer Violet is very sheer with tons of shimmer. Once paired with the eye shadow primer  mineral eye shadow was very pigmented, and I did not need much to achieve the pop of color I was looking for. Mandarin, while  appearing bright orange in the jar, is another very sheer color and is not very pigmented even when paired with the primer. I found that I had to pack on quite a bit in order to get great color pay off. In a way mandarin reminded me of the MAC Cosmetic pigment Rose Gold by the way the light reflected a pinkish golden tone.

Fevour Cosmetics Eye Shadow Primer $16 is a great primer. I would not advise purchasing the loose mineral eye shadows without it. The primer is lightweight and like other primers helps to intensify eye shadows. Due to my oily eyelids I noticed some slight creasing when I had the primer on alone for awhile.

Mineral Powder Blush

Fevour Cosmetics Mineral Powder Blush $18.95 comes in 12 delicious shades. Savvy Orange, while a blush is a great powdered highlighter for any women of color. There are many different ways you can wear this blush, add a hint of glow to a normal matte blush by sweeping a small bit of Savvy Orange across the top.

My final thoughts are that this is a promising brand to keep your eyes out for. Plus, they’ve just launched a new line of Matte Lipsticks that I can’t wait to try out!  You can find more Fevour Cosmetics Products at www.fevourcosmetics.com!
