Remember back when I showed you my awesome Chocolate Bundle Remy Hair? No welp, click here and refresh your memory a bit. This hair is 100% human and has not been previously chemically treated. This means you can custom color this hair to whatever shade your prefer. I decided that I wanted to do something funky and change the hair to a dark brown with purple highlights. Now, we all know that the color of the swatch you see is not always how the color comes out. It probably would have had I left it on a little bit longer but all in all I was pretty happy with the result. Afterwards I washed and deep conditioned the hair and left it air dry. The following day I curled the hair using the wand. I had no shedding or tangling issues whatsoever!
If you take a look at the first three pictures below you’ll notice that you can’t really see the hair color. This is great for me because that means I can wear this Upart wig in a professional setting without worry of the color being extreme.
This is the way the hair looks when in direct sunlight. I love how it’s a gorgeous burgundy with some deeper purple streaks throughout. Since this color definitely does not match my hair color I plan on purchasing another bundle of the Chocolate Hair and having my stylist make a full wig. I will say that the curls slightly fell as the day wore on and I did not have the wig on so this brand of hair does not hold curls well but would work great if you’re looking to rock a straight do.
