HUM Nutrition: Vitamins for the Modern Women Plus Give Away!

HUM Nutrition Dietary Supplements

“BEAUTY STARTS FROM WITHIN… which is why we started HUM”

The older I get the more I know I should be taking my daily vitamins. I’m always being asked by my mom “Are you taking your vitamins?” when I complain of an ache or a pain. I do take vitamins but they aren’t the most exciting part of my day. They’re not as exciting as lets say my first sip of coffee, or putting on a brightly hued lipstick, but with a little help from the people over at HUM Nutrition I think taking a daily vitamin might be a little more intriguing.

HUM Nutrition’s mission is to make you look great and feel even greater. They have a cutting edge line of supplements that have been developed by leading researchers in California. So, instead of buying one of those multivitamins that give you a little bit of this and a little bit of that you can now have a personalized vitamin regimen provided to you by a free personal nutritionist! With over 26 different supplements you can rest assure that there will something special just for you.

When I heard about HUM Nutrition was super intrigued because honestly I don’t like to just pop pills for things I don’t need.  I took the easy peasy quiz and received a report and personalized programs from a registered dietician. The report told me what I was doing great, what I should look out for, and how to improve  my health and diet.

My personalized report suggested that I try out Runway Ready, Omega the Great and Uber Energy!

Runway Ready is a combination of Red Carpet and Killer Nails.

Red Carpet Nails contains Black Currant Seed Oil for glowing skin, and fuller, shiner, hair. and Killer Nails is formulated with 5000mcg of Biotin  to strengthen both hair and nails! What I love is that it’s just three small swallow friendly pills that don’t leave a horrible taste in your mouth. I’ve been taking these vitamins for almost a month now and I’m sad to say I’m coming up on my last couple of packs. I have noticed that my hair does seem to be growing a bit faster. I can tell by the way my dark roots are starting to show up with a vengeance though I just had my hair colored two weeks ago.

The next two supplements recommend were OMG! OMEGA THE GREAT and UBER ENERGY!

UBER ENERGY is formulated to raise energy, balance stress and reduce fatigue. The benefits of this supplement include

  • Boost energy for demanding busy lifestyles
  • Supports adrenal strength
  • Helps you deal with stress and anxiety
  • Designed to increase resistance to fatigue

I can honest attest to UBER ENERGY, If I happen to forget to take this I can definitely feel a difference in my energy level by the end of the day. Since I have so much going on in my life with my PHD and all these supplements have seriously come in handy.

OMG! OMEGA The GREAT supports even skin tone, and a healthy heart and body. It has ultra potent and pure fish oil in a soft gel with no fishy aftertaste! The benefits of this supplement include:

Supports Clear Skin
Even Skin Tone
Hydrates Skin
Stimulates healthy skin cells
Great for the heart, brain and body

I’ve been having some serious skin issues for the past 6 months so anything that can assist me with getting my skin back to normal is my friend. Research has shown that in a 12 week double blind trail of eczema suffers, significant improvements were demonstrated.

I’ve been taking some kind of vitamins for most of my life – as a kid, I swallowed soooo many every day, that I rebelled against them. Now that I’m an adult (mostly) I like to choose the ones I feel I can benefit most from. Sounds like this personalized HUM might work for me.

Such an interesting brand. I take multivitamins every single day, I should give this one a try!

These sound exactly like what I need. I’m a little nervous about the amount of biotin but glad to hear that it worked well for you. Thanks fur the opportunity!

I take a multi vitamin daily, and I do notice that after not taking it for a while, my energy levels drop. Great review. Thanks for the giveaway

I am big on biotin, and I’ve had great results. I take vitamin D, a multivitamin, and a collagen/HA complex. I’m a big believer in vitamins. Gotta check out this brand!

I always take vitamins. I feel better when I do and can totally tell if I skip a day!

  7. July 14, 2014 / 11:45 am

I am the worst at remembering to take my vitamins! I really think my body needs more Vitamin C & D – I always forget to eat fruit and I hate milk! LOL

    • July 16, 2014 / 6:27 am

Yes, then you should definitely check out HUM Nutrition. They have a Vitamin specifically for those looking to get more Vitamin D.

I’ve taken a prenatal vitamin for the greater part of 11 years – ever since I found out I was pregnant with my son. I recently switched to a hair/skin/nails vitamin and my face broke out like crazy! I definitely need energy out of a vitamin/supplement.

  9. July 14, 2014 / 12:20 pm

I’m curious about the Red Carpet Nails vitamins, I’ve had a bad skin reaction to biotin before but perhaps it was due to the quality of the biotin. I’d appreciate the benefits to my hair and nails though!

So far I’ve been okay with the amount of Biotin in the pills. I had like 2 pimples and that was it but I wouldn’t attribute them to the Runway Ready Vitamins.

  10. July 14, 2014 / 12:25 pm

These supplements look really interesting! I do a variety of herbs daily, but could definitely use some Omegas.

I body needs vitamins. Some of us don’t eat a lot of fruits and vegetables so we need a good supplement that has all of our daily vitamins.

This brand sounds like it’s great! Vitamins are an essential part of my daily routine too.

  26. July 15, 2014 / 2:13 pm

I have been taking the HUM Runway Ready vitamins for about a week and a half now. As soon as I saw this post I instantly clicked on it because I wanted to see what others thought about it. I’m definitely noticing results so far (and I’m not even two weeks in yet) — my hair definitely seems a bit healthier, my nails are definitely getting stronger (there’s a huge difference here since I had such weak, breakage-prone nails), and my skin seems to be clearing up and just all-around better looking, but I also completely changed my skincare regimen over the last week (I’ve also been having serious issues for the last six months, at least), and I think that the new products I’ve been using are helping me too.

As a blogger, especially, I’m always excited about trying out new products but I’ve never really allowed myself the time to just use one product (or one skincare routine), so I think that was a big reason why I felt like nothing was really “working.” I would switch up the products I was using like every other day. I just recently realized that I’m only going to see real, noticeable results with a real routine and using the products, as intended, for a few weeks … and then I will start noticing results.

The HUM Runway Ready packs has actually helped me get into that feeling of a routine because you have to take them every day. I can’t wait to see what my hair, skin and nails look like at the end of the month when I’m ready for the next pack! I also want to try out the Omega the Great vitamins now, too πŸ™‚ Sorry for such a long comment, I’m just so excited about this stuff and so happy I could see what another blogger thought about these things πŸ™‚

I am partial to liquid vitamins. I just feel like they hit my system quickly & efficiently. I take calcium & B complex religiously (I’m currently breastfeeding & these vitamins are the only thing that keep me off the caffeine) I’m also a fan of omegas for boosting mood & brain power.

Nice post! The way you describe everything is really very informative. I’ve been thinking about adding some vitamins and Magnesium in my supplement list. Thanks for sharing such great blog.

I had been taking the daily cleanse, gut instinct, and flatter me for over a month. My face and bacy broke out liked crazy. Which isn’t normal for my skin. So I switched to the daily cleanse, red carpet, and omega. My skin is worse, I’m always tired and I am constantly constipated. Maybe it just affected me differently. I take other vitamins also. But am end my subscription with HUM. Hopen it works better for everyone else!
