I don’t consider myself to be a pro at doing makeup nor do I consider myself an expert on the proper use of each product. What I do know is that I’ve been hoarding this mass collection of beauty products that I honestly don’t give enough attention. This last month I decided that if I purchased a product then it would get used. I would force myself to step outside of my “natural makeup” comfort zone and to try new and different looks. Lately, I’ve been going to Pinterest for inspiration and challenging myself to try and recreate certain looks. By doing this I am forcing myself to utilize things in my collection and I’m discovering products I even forgot I owned!
Since I already own 26 of the new Make Up For Ever Artist shadows (watch a swatch video here), and I have 30 more coming in the form of the 30th Anniversary Palette which you can buy here. I decided to pull my palette out and play with it. I absolutely love the texture of these shadows they go on so nice and smooth and y’all I do not have an issue with fall out which is one the the biggest things I’ve noticed about these shadows besides the texture and pigment.
For this look I use a lot of products from the Make Up For Ever family but I’ll only list what’s on my eyes and lips and if you want to know about face products just ask me in the comments and I’ll be sure to list what I used.

Milani Cosmetics Ultra Fine Liquid Liner in Black Vinyl
Revlon Lengthening Lashes
Now my lips are custom color using the Make Up For ever Flash Color in Purple as a Base. I then applied the MAC Cosmetics Pigment in Dark Purple on top and lined them with a DiorShow waterproof liner in Dark Purple. I’ll be honest I’m not a huge fan of these Revlon lashes but I wanted to try them out since I saw them in CVS.
Love this daring look. I also need to make an effort to use the makeup I have.
