Ten Cruelty-Free Natural Hair Companies You Should Be Trying

Ten Cruelty Free natural hair companies you have to try.

Going Natural is a huge transition. Women go natural for many different reasons with one main reason being to escape the damage that was caused relaxers and heat styling tools. The first time I went Natural, back in 2009 was due to the fact that wearing my relaxed hair was not conducive to my gym rat lifestyle. I’d find myself skipping out on workouts because I wanted to prolong the life of my touch-up.

As if going natural wasn’t enough, now you have to find out which products work best for your hair. I was and probably still am slightly a product junkie. I’d watch youtube video after youtube video trying out various products recommended by Natural Hair enthusiast.  With new Natural Hair companies starting up daily and old companies moving into the Natural Hair world, it can be rather overwhelming figuring out which product is best for you. I’ve found a few staples, but I’ve also found that I really like to use products that are organic in nature and ultimately end up being cruelty-free. Admittedly, I do use products that are not cruelty-free and as is my choice I will probably continue to do so, but I’ve come across several Natural Hair beauty who are looking to use products that are strictly cruelty free.

How do you know if a company is cruelty-free?

To find out if a company is cruelty-free, you can easily check the label for one the bunny logos shown below.

Yes I have. I’ve been using Deva Curl for almost a month now. Great product! I highly recommend it to other curly girls! I found Deva Curl on ebay for a fraction of the retail price.

Hello im natural but im having a hard time trying to find a product that will make my hair soft

It’s hard to suggest a product to make you’re hair soft if I don’t know what you’re already using. You may just have a coarser texture and you’re hair won’t necessarily be “cotton” soft.

MY HAIR IS ALSO VEEERY COURSE, BUT I HAVE FOUND THE SHAMPOO AND CONDITION IS THE KEY AND CREAMY PRODUCTS WITH THE OILS IN THEM WORK BETTER FOR ME. SHEA MOISTURE PRODUCTS IN THE GOLD COLOR CONTAINERS IS MY FAVORITE. MASK TREATMENT CONDITIONER ( I USE TO CONDITION AND 2 STRAND TWIST). I MIXED THE TREATMENT MASK, WITH THEIR CURLING GEL SOUFFLE & CURL ENHANCING SMOOTHIE IN A JAR AND I ADD A LITTLE OF THEIR JAMAICAN BLACK CASTOR OIL WITH IT FOR EXTRA MOISTURE AND I DO NOT HAVE TO USE A LOT.
I JUDGE MY SOFTNESS BY MY ROOTS BECAUSE MY HAIR IS REALLY CURLY ON THE ENDS.

        I HOPE THIS HELPED YOU,

When I wash my daughter’s hair it is nice and soft. But by tje next day her ends get very dry
    What do you suggest?

Are you protecting her hair at night with a satin pillow case or scarf? That helps to retain moisture. You may also want to check the porosity of her hair, that way you can see how her hair take up moisture and adjust your regimen to suit.

I use a variety of products. But Shea Moisture is definitely part of the list of my holy grail products. The high porosity line and the hair color is phenomenal. I have permed my hair since 16 and now I’m 50. I also color my gray hair and have been for years. I thought I couldn’t wear my natural curl because of color. But it is healthier now than ever before.

    Hi everyone,
I’ve used shea moisture condition before and it’s really nice. But it’s hard to find it here in Malawi. I also want to start selling cruelty free natural hair products here in my country but I don’t have access to where I could order. If anyone is willing to help please I would appreciate
