Enter your Dog into the Merial “Doggone Funny” Contest Program: Doggone Funny Blogger Program

Disclosure: This post and contest is sponsored by Merial, a world-leading animal health company, providing a comprehensive range of products to enhance the health and well-being of pets, but all opinions are my own. Please see below for additional disclosure.

Dog owners go to great lengths to keep their dogs healthy and happy: from letting their four-legged companions ride shotgun in the car to holding their dog during a thunderstorm. Merial is asking dog owners nationwide to share stories about their laugh-out-loud dog and the funny things they do to keep their pets happy as part of the NexGard® (afoxolaner) “Doggone Funny” program. From now until October 21, 2015, consumers can share the funny things that their dog does and/or that they do for their dog on Instagram® or Twitter® using the #DoggoneContest hashtag or watch the NexGard “Doggone Funny” video. Every share will help place more Canine Companions for Independence® assistance dogs with deserving individuals in need. Dog owners can visit www.doggonecontest.com to watch the NexGard “Doggone Funny” video featuring Sarah Hyland, view submitted social posts and learn more about the program.

For every social action taken by consumers, which includes submitting a social post and watching the NexGard “Doggone Funny” video, Merial, the maker of NexGard, will sponsor $1, up to $100,000, to Canine Companions for Independence, a national non-profit organization that provides highly trained assistance dogs to children, adults and veterans with disabilities free of charge. The top three #DoggoneContest social media posts from dog owners will receive $5,000 from Merial, the maker of NexGard. So join me and my funny dog JujuBee and post a video or image of your doggone funny dog!

Merial partnered with bloggers like me for its “Doggone Funny” program. As part of this program, I received compensation for my time. They did not tell me what to say about any product mentioned in these posts. Merial believes that consumers and bloggers are free to form their own opinions and share them in their own words.
