Starting My Spring Capsule Wardrobe

Spring is less than 20 days away and since having a Winter Capsule Wardrobe was probably one of the best things I ever did fashion wise I decided to keep it going into Spring. Since our area is a bit colder during the Spring (that is if we don’t skip the season completely like we did last year), I’m counting on a good bit of my stuff transitioning over. I have a few lightweight long sleeved shirts that I didn’t show in my winter capsule that I can transition over as well as a couple of light weight cardigans. For the most part, what I’m looking to do is to add some pieces to this capsule that I can dress up a bit more. I’m also still trying to decide what color family I want to go with. Often times when we think of spring we think of introducing more color into our wardrobes, but I find myself drawn to denim, grey, and military olive green. This probably explains why I’m absolutely loving everything over at Madewell right now.

Here are a few of the pieces that I’ve already added to my Spring Capsule Wardrobe below. I was able to pick up all these items except for one on sale. Can you believe those leopard print slide in’s were only $18? The Shopbop big event sale is going on right now also and ends March 5th. You can save up to 25% on almost everything so I’m hoping something cute from there will catch my eye.

I plan to share more of my Spring Capsule Wardrobe finds as well as show you what it looks like once completed. I failed at taking photo’s of items worn in my Winter Capsule, but maybe I’ll do better with Spring.
