My Favorite Things About Fall

This post is sponsored by Listerine in collaboration with SocialStars. All opinions are my own. #bringouthebold

Fall has to be my absolute most favorite time of the year. It’s like the “baby bear” of the seasons when things are just right. Admittedly I may be a bit jaded since I work in a place where we’re required to wear pants and closed toed shoe year round, but there is something about Fall that is almost magical.

To me, Fall is reminiscent of rebirth. Some may argue and say that’s spring but to me, Fall is when things actually start to happen. The leaves begin to change colors and you can feel the air become a bit crisper. These are signs that something big is about to happen! In some ways, you can even think of Fall as a great time restructure things going on in your life. If something isn’t working you can shake things up a bit and start preparing for the upcoming year.  You can #bringoutthebold as Listerine say’s and vow to attempt to do something that you’ve been putting off all year.

Fall is also when I can pull out some of my favorite fragrances, makeup shades, and clothing items. This time of year I switch out to bolder scents with spice, musk, bergamot, cinnamon, and vanilla.

I think everyone can agree that they love the Fall Fashion, The scarves, the boots, the jackets, and the joyous ability to layer! You can also create several outfits from a limited selection during the Fall Season. Consider wearing a white button down one day then tying it around your waist the next.

You can wear bold makeup shades anytime, but the cooler months are when deeper tones can really come out to play. Jewel tones look gorgeous on darker skin, and while you really aren’t going to be wearing Jade or emerald on your cheeks bold deep colors like berries, and purple are my go to shades. Add a bit of shimmer to your cheeks on minimal makeup days to really make your makeup pop. For more natural look try a lighter hand when using a matte blush shade.

*Pro Tip* To create the perfect blush application apply in a Figure 8 formation. This allows you to blend the blush while making sure the perfect amount is distributed along your cheeks.

Fall is also a great time to bring out bolder lip colors too. To make sure your smile looks its best try out the  LISTERINE® HEALTHY WHITE™ RESTORING Anticavity Mouthrinse. It gives you the benefit of healthier, whiter teeth, and stronger teeth without all those extra steps.
