Out of all the highlighters I own, I tend to only reach for one because it gives me that perfect highlight. That product is Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Duo which comes with a bronzer and a highlighter. The only problem with this product is that I only use the highlighter leaving the bronzer untouched since it really isn’t my s it’s basically a waste of money and space. Being a huge MUFE fan, I was super excited to see when they launched the Pro Light Fusion Highlighter as an answer to my prayers for a single highlighter.

The Pro Light Fusion Highlighter ($39) comes in two shades, 01 Golden Pink for light to medium shades and 02 Golden for medium to dark skin tones.
The texture of the Pro Light Fusion is softer than that of the highlighter in Pro Fusion Duo and goes on breathlessly. While 02 Golden is supposed to be the same color as that in the Pro Fusion duo I noticed a difference in their texture and color payoff. The Pro Light Fusion is more powdery, but not so much that it makes a mess and it’s a bit softer in color than that of the gold in the Pro Fusion Duo, but it still blends down to a gorgeous golden accent that emphasizes the skin natural texture and accentuates bone sculpture. 01 Golden Pink finishes in light pink with warm undertones. I was skeptical about whether or not this one would look okay on WOC, but because of its warmer undertones, I feel with a light hand it will still show up beautifully on darker skin.
Since MAC just released their In the Spotlight collection with new In Extra Dimension Skinfinishes I compared two that I own side by side with the Make Up For Ever Pro Light fusion.

As you can see MAC’s Double Gleam pulls a silver compared to the MUFE Golden while MAC’s Show Gold pulls more pink with iridescent sparkles than that MUFE Golden Pink.
