Summer Living Room Refresh

For the past couple of months, I’ve been doing a few small and inexpensive upgrades around the house. I still haven’t built up enough nerve to drain our savings to have our old 1950’s pink and black bathroom redone (photos here), but for the most part, I’m happy with the outcome of each project. Last year I gave our living room facelift by changing out the curtains and upgrading the pillows which gave the room a whole new vibe, but this year I’ve found that I’ve grown tired of the curtains as they were a bit thin and I wanted…

Living Room Make Over On a Budget with Target Style and H&M Home

After almost a two year hiatus the Home Decor bug has hit me again. For me, it’s our gorgeous 1950’s bathroom equipped with the luxurious pink and black tile! Usually when people come over I direct them to our upstairs bathroom that has been renovated and has a calm spa feel, but sometimes people sneak past and want to use the more convient downstairs bathroom and I feel forced to explain why it still looks like…

Quick Tips to Help Refresh Your Bedroom for Spring.

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #LongLastingScent #CollectiveBias For many people, the bedroom is just a place to sleep, read a book, or maybe get away to watch a TV show in privacy. As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that the Bedroom has become more than just a room I use to sleep. It’s become my own private getaway where I can go and relax and release the thoughts and stress for the day. Since I consider my bedroom to be such a sacred place I don’t even allow…
