One of the best things about having a Capsule Wardrobe is that it really forces you to think outside the box when it comes to putting together outfits. After my husband dug us out of the house we decided to get out and enjoy this beautiful snow day. Usually, I would throw on a sweatshirt and some jeans, but this year I’ve told myself that I want to make a concentrated effort to get out of that “grad student” funk when it comes to outfits. My friends are kinda blaming me for the snow as just last week I kept saying that I wanted it to snow enough for me to wear the snow boots that I purchased back in September. My request was granted many times over as I’m sure I’ll be wearing them for many days to come. I didn’t want to wear a jacket that was too heavy as I already had on a sweatshirt, surprisingly it’s usually not that cold right after it snows so I threw on my oversized coatigan and called it an outfit.
