Products I’m Loving This Month

Quick and Easy Wash N Go Routine

I’ve never been a fan of the whole Wash and Go style. I’ll be honest I was never a fan because I could never get my hair to cooperate. I fell into the trap of watching so many other naturalistas on youtube rock a wash n go and wishing my hair did what there’s did. So for the past four years I’ve completely ditched Wash N Go’s. The term was just not in my vocabulary, that is until I got tired of twisting my hair every weekend. I mean really something had to give. I loved rocking my twist outs,…

Broke on Purpose: May Goals and New Planner and Free Printables

I honestly can’t believe it’s already May! When I look back I wish I would have started being Broke on Purpose back in January, but these past two months have been great momentum wise and we’re hoping to keep it up (to read how this journey started head here). To date, the Wright Household has paid off a whopping $7303.05 of debt and it feels absolutely amazing. This includes four credit cards and a car note. Another great thing about this whole thing is that while my debt is going down my credit score is going up! On March 25th…

Spring Has Sprung

Thank you May for bringing the warm weather with you! It’s actually starting to feel like Spring in Philadelphia!  The weekend has been absolutely amazing, though I’ve had to spend a majority of the time indoors at work (missing The Make Up Show), I couldn’t help but to take advantage of this glorious weather and snap a couple of pictures of my new outfit which I felt was perfectly appropriate for this sunny day. During the warmer months, I love to play around with bold colors and prints. So when I happened upon this floral pencil skirt on Asos I…

#ReimagineThat and Give Your Shampoo Bottle a New Lease on Life

I can honestly admit that two times a day I let my imagination run wild. I either giving a concert as an award winning R&B Diva, coming up with my next big plan on how I’m going to kick Sallie Mae out of my house once and for all, or I’m winning an argument against a life nemesis. These vivid scenes of imagination all happen in my Shower, and while I’m showering I’m usually oblivious to what I do with my shampoo or body wash containers once they’ve run out. Well, lets not say oblivious but the word recycle doesn’t…

Broke on Purpose: April 2015 Wrap Up.

April is officially over (basically) and I have $69 left in my bank account, but this month has been amazing! We have paid off $4750.07 in debt well exceeding what we’d originally planned to do.  Now I fully understand exactly what Dave Ramsey means when he tells callers not to get overwhelmed with the time it may take to pay off a debt. On paper, it may tell you one thing, but when you become Gazelle Intense and get mad at your debt things will start to happen that will change the end date on that paper entirely. At the…
