ULTA’s New Brands and Why I’m Slowly Leaving Sephora

As a beauty blogger, I spend a ridiculous amount of money on cosmetics. This number has greatly reduced since I’ve been on this big push to pay off all my student loans, hopefully, in the next two years plus my taste in cosmetic brands has changed. With that being said I’ve still somehow been a member of Sephora’s VIB Rouge program for the last three years. Sephora originally touted their VIB Rouge program as this prestigious group of beauty enthusiast that got perks on perks on perks. Flash forward to now and our spending $1000+ grants us exclusive rights to…

The Best Matte Nude Liquid Lipsticks for Your Complexion

Searching for the perfect matte nude liquid lipstick when there are so many choices available can be a daunting task. Is it wrong to say that I wasn’t interested in the MAC Lip Scrubtious when I first heard about it? I mean in my head I assumed it was just another sugar scrub and we’ve all seen plenty of Pinterest tutorials on how to make your own at home. To me, lip scrubs should be an essential part of any one’s beauty routine, especially if you plan on wearing a matte lipstick or during the winter months. Lip scrubs do more than just help to remove all that dead unflattering skin from the lips, but also add back in essential oils…

You Need to Add at Least One Mac Retro Matte Lipstick to Your Collection!

I honestly can’t believe I’m about to say this but er umm. I’m in love with these MAC Retro Matte lipsticks!! When Retro Matte was first released, I didn’t grab any because I’d drastically cut back on the amount on makeup I was purchasing and was more focused on skincare. Lucky for me MAC released twelve new Retro Matte lipsticks in an array of neutral shades that will either be screaming YESS or leave you questioning your color choices.  MAC sent over five shades of the Retro Matte lipsticks to Being Melody Headquarters for me to try out and I…
