NARS pays tribute to its beginnings with the launch of The Audacious Lipstick Collection: lipsticks so shamelessly seductive in touch and texture, the sensation is absolutely audacious. There are 40 shades in this brand new collection with ten being sold exclusively at Barney’s New York.
I chose two shades that I knew would be perfect for the upcoming fall season, Liv and Dominique.
Liv is a described as a deep aubergine. It’s a mix a a deep reddish brown that hints slightly purple. It is the perfect vampy lipstick color for fall, especially for those who don’t want to go to dark. This color will be available at all Nars Cosmetics Retail locations.
Dominique is described as a pink lilac, though in person it tends to look like it could be more of a mauvy pink-plum. On the lips Dominique does pull a bit more pink with purple undertones. This shade will be found exclusively at Barney’s New York
