MakeUp Wars: Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette

Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette

In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the movie Pulp Fiction Urban Decay release an entire Pulp Fiction collection. Pulp Fiction came out when I was a young girl and I wasn’t allowed to watch it so I really can’t say that I know anything about the movie. I do know that it was a big hit and I’ve told myself that I must watch it later on. The Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette, $34 is one out of five items from this limited edition collection. The eyeshadow palette contains five shadows, three of which are new shades. In terms of do you need this palette the answer is NO! Unless you are a HUGE Pulp Fiction Fan you can honestly pass if you already have any of the Naked Palettes.

I teamed up with some other Beauty Bloggers to create looks using this palette or the newest Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette.  Since I received Palette in a swag bag from a Macy’s impluse Beauty event I decided to create a look using this one.

While the palette comes with a “Get the Look” card I decided to do something different since every other blogger that has this palette has done that look. Overall the colors aren’t as rich or pigmented as the look swatched on my arm. For a women of color you’re definitely going to have to prime your eyes or use and eyeshadow base. The look I chose was a recreating of a look that I saw on Pinterest. I love trying to recreate intricaete looks as they challenge me to really get dive in and see what I can do using the products that I have.

For this look I used only the palette along with a black liquid liner and eye pencil.

Love the look you created. I had passed on this palette and picked up the rest of the Pulp Fiction collection. I keep wavering on picking it up though

Hi Erica! I will get all the names for you once I get back in town on Thursday. I can say that I used a black liner a gray liner and a pigment but exact names are escaping me right now.
