Alright, Make Up For Ever fans, I have another great round product release to share with you, this time, additional products Pro Sculpting Collection the first product was the Pro Sculpting Duo which you can check out here. The latest additions to the Pro Sculpting Collection are products for lips, eyebrows, and face. I’ll be sharing the products in a separate post so each one has its own time to shine.
First up, I’m showing you all a product that incorporates two of my favorite Make Up For Ever items. The Pro Sculpting Lip ($27) is a merge of their irresistible Matte/Satin lipstick paired with a unique cream-to-powder highlighter (I swear it’s the star powder that I’m always raving about). The Pro Sculpting Lip is double ended so on one side you get the lipstick which is retractable and on the other you get the highlighter.
Pro Sculpting Lip comes into four natural shades, a lighter flesh toned pink, a darker pink, an orange based red, and a classic red. I was a little skeptical of the lighter colors until I tried them on and was made an instant believer. As I mentioned before each the of the products comes with its own highlighter which is perfect for creating an ombre lip. One of my fave MUA’s Jayme Arrasmith used to create an amazing ombre lip for me whenever I visited the MUFE Boutique in the King of Prussia Mall using their lipstick and star powder. Now I don’t need to carry around both products to create the perfect lip. Wear on the Pro Sculpting Lip is pretty good. I’ve been wear testing these for about a week and I can get through lunch and only have to do a small bit of touching up.
With Pro Sculpting Lip you can achieve three must-have looks that help to add volume and definition to the lips.
Ombre: apply the highlighter in the center, define, and line with the lip color, and then gently press the lips together to blend.
Add Volume: After applying color all over the lip, use the highlighter to create volume at the center. This is one I do all the time to help my lips appear larger.
Next Level: Add a dab of highlight on the Cupid’s bow for a perfect pout. Doing this draws eyes to the top lip.
