My Skincare Must Haves From 2016

I’ve tried a lot of skincare products this year. In my quest for better skin, I wanted to make sure that I had both a day and nighttime regimen that incorporated products with ingredients that my skin really needs and not just what happened to be trendy at the time. I know I’m not the only one who wanted to try a new skincare product because I saw a pretty picture on Instagram. After spending a good bit of time and money in the Sephora skincare aisles, as well as trying out some new products that were sent to me from brands, I think I’ve narrowed down my skincare favorites for 2016.While this list isn’t all inclusive of my favorites, it does include the main products that I find myself reaching for time and time again.

Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence Moisturizing Toner: Once I finished my sample size bottle of this magical toner I just knew I had to purchase the larger bottle. I love how refreshing it feels on my skin after cleansing.

Skinceuticals Phloretin CF: I was introduced to the Skinceuticals line back in October, and all I can think is why didn’t this happen sooner. The Phloretin CF is an antioxidant serum that neutralizes the free radicals and helps to improve the appearance of fine lines and uneven skin tone.

SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid 2:4:2: So, this is basically a magical moisturizer in a jar. I use this both day and night, but since I find that I’m running through it a little faster than I’d like I think I may just choose to only use it during the day.

GlamGlow BrightMud Eye Treatment: I started using these when I was trying out the Tria. Once I was done with the Tria, I started to use these on mornings when I looked like death warmed over at a late-night working excursion. The best part is that there is enough product in one pod to use on both eyes, so you get double the value for your money!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye: IT Cosmetics launched their skincare line a few months ago, and I promptly became a fan. I use this anti aging nourishing eye cream daily. While the company completely missed the mark in the makeup arena when it comes to making products for deeper complexions, they got it right in the skin care arena.

Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser: This will always and forever be my favorite cleanser. I pray that Boscia doesn’t ever change the formula (only to make it even better) or discontinue it. It’s great at removing makeup when I don’t feel like doing a pre-cleanse, and it does an amazing job at deep cleaning, and keeping my pores in check.

Bliss Mask-A-Peel: I’ve seen peel off mask go wrong and I was kind of nervous at first about using the Bliss Mask-A-Peel, but the results are so amazing that I just couldn’t help but want to use it over and over again.

LUNA Sleeping Night Oil: This night oil is basically the G.O.A.T of night oils. Read the ingredient list for yourself to see why so many people are raving about it. The smell might turn you off, but it’s still pretty damn amazing to me.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil: I’ve been talking about the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil for years! It’s really the only oil makeup remover that I’ve tried that can actually get all my makeup off in one sweep. I keep a backup of this stocked in my cabinet along with a smaller travel size to carry with me when I go out of town.
