Making the Most of Sweater Weather

This post was done in partnership with LOFT. #LOVELOFT #LOFTLOCALSTYLE

Even though I’d rather not deal with the colder temperatures I can’t help but love it when the weather calls for pulling out my coat, scarves, hats, and sweaters. To me, it’s when you can look your most fashionable because you layer different textures and looks to create your own unique style. Since I’m still trying to maintain somewhat of a minimalist closet I’m always looking for pieces that are versatile and can be styled in many different ways.

Sweaters can be bulky and will take up a lot of valuable real estate in your closet. So I tend to only purchase sweaters that can be dressed up or dressed down like this super soft and comfy plaid sweater from LOFT’s Lou and Grey Line. LOFT is one of my favorite places to shop. When I saw this sweater in the store it caught my eye, then I found myself coming back to it over and over again as I shopped. It was as if it was speaking to me, so of course, I took it home. Not only does it pair perfectly with athleisure for a chill day indoors. It’s perfect to throw on with a pair of LOFT curvy jeans to run errands or a cute skirt to wear into the office.

As you can see here, I styled this sweater with the LOFT Lou and Grey Signature Plush Upstate Sweatpants. For days when you want to relax at home, but not feel like a total BUM.  Plus, if I do need to do a quick run somewhere, all I have to do is throw on some shoes.
