Direct Energy Shows us How to Say Thanks with New Benefits for Veterans and Active Military

How to Say Thank you to our Military Veterans

I grew up sorta kinda a Military Brat. Even though my parents divorced when I was young my Dad still made sure to expose me to the Military life and I spent summers in various locales like Germany, Florida, and Virginia. My Dad retired as a Colonel in the United States Army and now works as a civilian in the Inspector Generals Office. When I was visiting him this past November he took me by the base on Veterans Day and showed me his office. I couldn’t help but smile inside as my Dad told me the history of the base. He’s always been so into military history and I’m so thankful that as a Veteran he is now a part of our American History.
