How to Wear SunScreen with Makeup and Still look Flawless.

How to Wear Makeup with Sunscreen and still look flawless! -www.beingmelody.com

We all want to still look our best during the summer, but let’s be honest, heavy makeup and hot humid temperatures just don’t go together. While you can probably skip on the full coverage foundation and all that extra strobing and baking the one thing you can’t skip out on is sunscreen.  Let’s be honest, most of us start out in the morning with no intentions on wearing sunscreen and the only time we apply it is when it’s found stealthily concealed in our moisturizer or foundation product.

So you don’t want to wear sunscreen, but listen, it’s super important and probably right up there with practicing safe sex.  Don’t worry though if you follow these SunScreen Beauty tips you’ll be safe to pay in the sun for as long as you can handle it.

  1. Apply Sunscreen under your foundation: The last thing you want to do is slather on sunscreen after you’ve spent a good amount of time sculpting your face to perfection. Apply a moisturizer that contains at least an SPF or higher. Be sure to be generous with the amount you apply as it’s important that you don’t miss a spot. Though a teaspoon sounds like a lot be sure to rub it in, making sure to apply it on your ears as well as the front and back of your neck.
  2. Layer it Up: It’s always a good idea to use more than product when it comes to sunscreen. It seems a bit much, but in actuality you probably already do it. Many summer foundations come with some sort of sunscreen protection so if you have sunscreen in your moisturizer then sunscreen in your foundation you’re all set. ROC Skin Care has an entire regimen that contains sunscreen which I’ve shared a few times on Being Melody and right now I’m absolutely loving  DDF Protective Eye Cream with Sunscreen Broad Spectrumespecially after using the Tria Eye Wrinkle correcting laser. Not only does it help to minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles, but it also protects the very fragile eye area from future UV damage.
  3. Switch It Up: Don’t like how cakey sunscreen appears under your powder foundation? Try using a liquid instead. You can even mix your favorite sunscreen product in with your foundation. Cover FX custom cover drops provide the perfect way to do this. I love to mix the two drops of the custom cover drops with DDF Daily Protective Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF15Play with your liquid foundation and sunscreen until you find the perfect ratio that will give you a flawless look.
