Multitasking: Self-Care and Skin Care

As a solo entrepreneur, I’m finding that for me, time is an arbitrary thing. I wear all the hats. I am the bookkeeper, accountant, creative department, business development, sales and marketing, maintenance, and even IT. Life would be a lot easier if I could outsource everything, but outsourcing cost money, and when you’re first starting capital is something you treasure. So I find that I have to be creative and use my time wisely to make a dent in my forever long to do list.

Being Melody Orgaid Sheet Mask

Skin care is an essential part of anyone’s routine, and it seems like we’re reminded of that fact daily, especially if you follow Ixora Botanical Beauty Founder Mercedes’s on Twitter who stays on us with her very effective skincare bullying challenges. Throughout my crazy day, I try to carve out moments when I can take time for myself to relax, and even then I find myself multitasking where I’m doing multiple things that surround self-care at the same time. While I will always have a special place in my heart for a traditional mask. Sheet Masks are still the bee’s knee’s for me.  Not only are they easy to use, but there’s little no clean up afterward. Just rub the remaining product into your skin and keep it moving. They are so efficient that I can do my skincare routine while relaxing with a snack and catching up on the ever-growing pile of magazines that I need to

I’ve tried several sheet mask brands and I even have an acrylic holder full of sheet mask in my closet. One brand that I enjoy using and I’ve talked about before on here is Orgaid. Not only is the brand US based, but their sheet masks are organic and don’t contain chemical preservatives, something I’ve found to be more important to me as I move through life.  It’s not unusual to find their anti-aging and vitamin C mask in my collection.

Orgaid Sheet Mask and Skin Polisher

The brand just recently released a new Organic Face Polish made of Honey Crystal and Brown Rice. As I used this exfoliator, it immediately reminded of the rice exfoliators that I’ve tried and swooned over from other brands. It’s so light and easy on your skin you might even wonder if it’s doing anything, but trust me after you rinse your face you’ll feel the Lord’s work all over it. It will feel smooth, supple, and brighter.

I typically do a face mask 1-2x’s a week, so I’ll be incorporating the Orgaid Organic Face Polish once a week before my sheet mask to add a little pick me up to my skin.

Do you need it?: This is an excellent face polish for all skin types. It’s important to remember that exfoliators should not be overused so if you have one you’re already using and love stick with it. If you’re looking to try something new and organic, then I would definitely give this brand a try.
